All KBS Conference 2026 participants who have registered are warmly invited to the Conference Dinner
(The social dinner is included in the symposium registration fee).
Thursday 4rd June 2026, starting at 19.00h to 24.00h we will enjoy a three-course sit-down dinner at the Grand Hall of the Kaunas Archdiocese Conference Center, located in the heart of Kaunas Old Town – Papilio g. 5, Kaunas, Lithuania. This elegant venue blends historical charm with modern comfort, creating a warm, respectful, and festive atmosphere. The spacious Grand Hall provides an ideal setting for shared dining, encouraging connection and meaningful conversation. An additional smaller hall allows the evening to flow naturally into the musical program and dancing, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable continuation. For those wishing to extend the celebration beyond midnight, the location offers convenient access to nearby nightclubs.

Our guests will be welcomed by a special performance from LINAGO, the Vytautas Magnus University folk ensemble, where old Lithuanian traditions are brought vividly into the present day. Songs, dances, and traditional games become a living experience rather than heritage preserved only in books or recordings. The ensemble is led by Rūta Klungevičiūtė and Vidmantas Paleckis.
The evening atmosphere will continue with music by a professional DJ, creating a lively and enjoyable setting for conversation, dancing, and celebration.
Alcoholic beverages are not included and should be purchased individually at the bar at the venue.
If you’d like to bring your spouse or partner to the dinner you will need to purchase an additional dinner ticket (subject to availability).
Recommended transportation options: We kindly suggest reaching Kaunas Town Hall by Bolt, Uber, taxi, on foot, or by public transport.
You can use Bolt or Uber, both of which operate in Kaunas. A ride from the city center to the Town Hall typically costs 4–5€. These services are fast, convenient, and usually the easiest option.
