Dear colleagues,
Due to the forecasted rainy weather, we have changed the football game venue from the open stadium in Nemunas and Neris Confluence Park to the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Sports Center. The matches will take place indoors so that players and supporters can fully enjoy the event regardless of the weather.
All players and supporters are kindly asked to gather at the venue lobby (S. Daukanto St. 28). A bus will transport participants from the university to the Sports Center and back after the game. The bus will depart at 18:30.
Please bring white or red shirts, indoor sports shoes, and a good mood.
If you have any questions, please contact Eglė Juškevičiūtė, egle.juskeviciute@lsmu.lt

Dear colleagues,
We hope you are already getting into the spirit of your upcoming trip to Lithuania and that preparations for the symposium are going smoothly.
To help us finalise the organisational arrangements for the 51st Annual Symposium of the Kettil Bruun Society, we would kindly ask you to complete the short survey below:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd7ei022Ss1JisBSo0q-KzeFnDVPZXQ4YCST1CB_IDQ7bktUw/viewform?usp=header
It should take no longer than 1 minute to complete. We would be very grateful if you could fill it in as soon as possible, preferably by Tuesday (26 May), as this will greatly help us with catering, seating, and venue logistics.
Please note that current weather forecasts suggest a rainy week in Kaunas, with daytime temperatures around 17°C and cooler evenings and nights around 9–11°C. We kindly encourage you not to forget warmer clothing and an umbrella when preparing for your trip to Lithuania.
We will send you the final version of the programme, with only minor adjustments, on Monday evening or Tuesday morning. We apologise that we are unable to share it now, as we are still waiting for responses from a few participants whose replies are important for finalising the programme.
If any participant reading this news item did not receive the message by email, we kindly ask you to contact ilona.tamutiene@vdu.lt immediately. This is very important to us, as we want to ensure that every participant receives all symposium information. Please also check your spam or junk folder for emails from kbs26lithuania@vdu.lt and consider adding this address to your safe sender list.
We look forward to seeing you in Kaunas.
Best wishes,
KBS 2026 Organising Committee
