General Terms and Conditions of the KBS 2026 Symposium

Payment

Fees can be paid using a variety of methods, including Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express), Debit Card or Debit Master Card, and PayPal. Payments made through Credit Card or Debit Card may incur fees depending on your card provider.

Early Bird Registrations close on 1 March 2026. Information on deadlines and fees is available under the ‘The Symposium’ tab above.

The ePay payment portal for KBS 2026 will be available soon.

Invitation letters

Foreigners needing a special invitation letter in order to obtain visas may request it from the Organizing Committee at least three months prior to the KBS 2026 Symposium. Please send an e-mail to:  .

Confirmation of registration

You will receive a confirmation of registration by e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail from the Organizing Committee of the KBS 2026 Symposium within a reasonable time, please send an e-mail to: .

Change of delegate

Substitutions of attendees can be made for a cost of 35 EUR. Please inform the Organizing Committee of the KBS 2026 Symposium in writing, giving the name of the substitute by 15 May 2026.

Cancellations

Cancellations can be made in writing to the Organizing Committee of the KBS 2026 Symposium by sending an e-mail to: .

Refunds

  • Until May 15, 2026: 50% (after bank expenses deduction)
  • After May 15, 2026: no refund

Refunds will be made after the KBS 2026 Symposium. If for reasons beyond the control of the Organizing Committee, the KBS 2026 Symposium is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after deduction of expenses already incurred.

Liability

The contributors will be carefully selected and the KBS 2026 Symposium will be carefully prepared. The organizers of the KBS 2026 Symposium cannot accept liability for the up-to-datedness, correctness and completeness with respect to conference documentation and content, unless the damage is the direct consequence of an intentional act or gross negligence. Neither the organizers of the KBS 2026 Symposium will assume any responsibility whatsoever for any damage or injury to persons or property during the Symposium.

Disputes

All agreements between KBS 2026 organisers and the Other Party and all disputes which may arise between the Parties shall be exclusively subject to the Lithuanian Law. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
